You asked, we answered! Here you will find responses to your most commonly asked questions and helpful information to streamline the EOR process.
Q: I am the Legally Responsible Individual (LRI) HTS staff for my child. Do I need to use EVV?
A: Yes, EVV compliance applies to LRI and all HTS staff in Oklahoma.
Q: Can I use the DCI Web Portal on my laptop to enter my HTS clock-in and clock-out entries?
A: Yes, you can still use the DCI Web Portal on your laptop. However, HTS clock-in and -out entries are no longer EVV compliant. Many families believe that since they are entering them electronically using the DCI Web Portal, this act alone makes them compliant. Compliant entries are only those made through the DCI app or by a landline telephone.
Q: The recipient I work for moved houses and now my clock-in and -out entries don’t register.
A: The DCI app tracks the location of the clock-in and clock-out, so if the recipient’s address is not up to date in Acumen’s system, then it will appear as non-compliant. It’s essential to notify Acumen as soon as possible so the new address can be updated in their system. Having the correct recipient address on file is vital for successful time entries.
Q: What does OHCA’s 90% compliance goal for entries mean?
A: Mistakes will occur and not all entries will be compliant. Still, it’s worth keeping in mind that if there are multiple HTS staff and one HTS is not compliant while the others are, that may negatively affect all HTS staff and will pull the overall compliance average down.
Q: Can the EOR still make historical clock-ins and clock-outs on behalf of the HTS?
A: The EOR can still make historical time entries for their HTS, however they will not be EVV compliant. Landline entries will not count as compliant if they choose historical.
